I chose Pavana Resort because it was conveniently located near Chandrika Lake, which I wanted to visit. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free WiFi throughout the property. It made it easy for me to stay connected and share my travel experiences with my friends and family. the restaurant served both Western favorites and delicious local Sri Lankan delights, providing a great variety of dining options.
Lack of cleanliness and noise.

Hotel was impeccably clean and functional with caring staff and magnificent location to rain forest. Location: the property was next to which was cheap, and restaurants. Also, it was 3 miles from Chandrika Lake.

Plenty of food options near the pool 🍔 Great location - just a stone's throw away from the bus station and Main Street. You can easily hop on a bus from Nuwara Eliya to get here.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, promptly replying to our emails and organizing a safari for us. The room we stayed in was clean, newly refurbished, and had a tasteful design. The location of the hotel was convenient, easily accessible from the bus station and centrally located. The Wi-Fi worked well, which was a bonus.
The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The room we were initially shown was in a grim condition, and even the other rooms we looked at weren't much better.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Tilly, the manager. He spoke perfect English and provided us with lots of information about the nearby attractions. The location was convenient, as it was close to the bus station and excellent for visiting the national park and the rainforest. The breakfast was delicious and packed for us when we went on a safari.
There was nothing we didn't like.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pavana Resort in Embilipitiya. The hotel's decoration was charming and had a cozy and homely atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and had beautiful floral arrangements, which added a touch of elegance. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible. The pathways were wide and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate around the property.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and responsive. It would have been helpful if they were more proactive in assisting with any requests or inquiries.

The staff was so cool and helpful, especially Tilly. We had a blast chilling by the pool and going on a safari to Ridiyagama Safari Park. It was wild seeing all the animals up close, especially the lions. The whole experience was dope!
The only thing we would've liked is if they had a nightclub or some fun activities for party people like us. It would've been sick to have a place to dance and hang out with our friends.

I stayed at Pavana for a few days while exploring Udawalawe. The manager, Thilly, was incredibly welcoming and helped me with everything from arranging a private safari to giving me travel advice. The room was comfortable, with AC and hot water, and even had a chair and table. The morning coffee was great, and I enjoyed using the bicycles to spot birds nearby. The hotel was quiet, and the mini pool was a refreshing bonus. Highly recommended!
